So we recommend choosing a flight that lands at least 3 hours before the boat check-in. And departing flight should be booked for 3 or 4 hours after check-out.

  • Unfortunately not. These trips are catered for competent surfers. However, we have a great trip in Nicaragua (18-25 May) which is open to all levels.

We are also accepting non-surfers on our 10 day trip, and there will be the option to do a few beginner lessons, but this is very conditions-dependant

  • Our trips are most-suited to high-performance surfers.

However, if you are a competent surfer looking for performance progression waves, of course you are welcome to join!

  • Laura & Charlie Crane are both incredible surfers, athletes and masters of high performance. They always wanted to share what their surf trips look and feel like with others.

You can expect a well-rounded experience designed to balance performance and restorative practices.

    • We also provide strength and mobility exercises that will help you overcome any blockages

    • Some ad-hoc in water coaching too

  • July - September is monsoon season in the Maldives, which means WAVES!

This is a stormier season, but it does mean the islands get tons of swell.

Summer (Jul - Sept) is for intermediate - advanced surfers. You can expect anything from 3ft - 7ft

  • You will be surfing over reef!

Expect lots of amazing wildlife, turquoise and warm water! (Reef shoes highly recommended)

There are a variety of waves in the Maldives, but most are incredibly friendly, with a couple of faster / more shallow barrelling waves.

Wave size can range from 3ft - 7ft during July - Sept

  • No flights are not included, however we can help recommend best flights and carriers for board bags (make sure you check bag allowances and whether your connection is a self-transfer)

  • Personal travel and health insurance is NOT included. Please make sure to book insurance which covers surf specifically. This may be found under “extreme” or “water sports”.

Read all the small print - you don’t want to make a mistake or skimp on insurance when you’re on a boat hours away from a hospital possibly requiring an air ambulance.

    Check-out;
    - World Nomads
    - G1G travel insurance
    - Staysure
    - AXA

  • No, guest boards are not included.

We have a couple of soft tops for safety. These can be used by our non-surfer +1s for beginner lessons (if conditions allow).

  • We recommend bringing 2 or 3 boards at the very most.

Bring your daily driver or all-around shortboard. Something you love to ride in chest high to overhead waves.

Either bring a similar backup, or consider something with a little more volume for smaller days or BIG days.

    E.g. 5’9 thruster as your one-board quiver, paired with a 6’2
